NOT TOO CRAZY
I chose the name “Not Too Crazy” for my coaching practice to remind us that our imperfections are not overwhelming—they’re just right. Through my own experiences and listening to others, I’ve learned the importance of providing a space where everyone feels their stories can be shared without judgement. This approach helps create a safe and welcoming environment for self-discovery, where our unique challenges are seen as powerful and just enough to foster growth.
To be a bit vulnerable with you, even though I now have the courage to pursue a life I love supporting others and building community for founders as COO of Women Founders Bay, it wasn’t that long ago that I found myself in a difficult situation.
I had just moved out of an abusive roommate situation after trying to find cheaper rent while building my first startup. Things got so bad that I started to question my own sanity. I had gone from a stable home and six figure salary as an engineer manager to being homeless and without income.
Eventually, I was faced with a choice: either get support to rebuild and stabilize my life, or give up on entrepreneurship. I chose to seek support from friends, and I used the earnings I had from a hackathon to move into a new apartment. I gave myself time to recover from burnout.
Soon after, I got my first few coaching clients, and I’ve since been able to develop the resilience and mindset to navigate uncertainty.
This is why I’m so passionate about helping founders build a strong foundation within themselves and achieve results, no matter how chaotic their environment may be.
About Me
I am an engineering leader turned Executive Coach and COO of Women Founders Bay, the largest female founders’ community in the Bay Area. I built high-impact teams and over the last 5 years empowered hundreds of women in tech. I now help founders navigate the rocky early stages, supporting them through challenges so they can create legacy businesses.
Passionate about empowering individuals to uncover and embrace their authentic expression, I combine technical expertise with a commitment to personal growth. Through coaching, storytelling workshops, and masterminds, I provide founders with the clarity, resilience, and community they need to thrive.
Originally from Montreal and now thriving in San Francisco, I’m an accredited coach, tech enthusiast, entrepreneur, and proud dog mom dedicated to wellness and spirituality. As a neurodivergent, first-generation Canadian/American of Chinese descent and the youngest of two siblings, I’ve faced unique challenges and uncovered profound strengths.
My mother, a nutritionist, instilled in me the importance of healthy eating. However, after developing arthritis in my 20s, I embarked on a journey to find alternative information that wasn’t widely available. Long before gluten-free diets gained mainstream acceptance, I encountered societal resistance to change but challenged norms to stabilize my arthritis to a near non-existent state. This experience ignited my desire to seek out knowledge that empowers others to take control of their health.
Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I initially struggled with feelings of shame and confusion over behaviors that once lacked explanation. Like many undiagnosed neurodivergents, I felt broken and out of place. But accepting this part of my identity transformed a perceived obstacle into a superpower that, with the right focus, shines brightly.
Being a first-generation Chinese American also made me acutely aware of the impact of generational trauma. And as a woman leading in the tech industry, I’ve confronted imposter syndrome, fueling my passion to help others who struggle with similar doubts.
These experiences led me to coaching, which has profoundly transformed my own life. I hold space with empathy and understanding, recognizing the unique potential within us all.
With years of knowledge seeking and a desire to empower others to heal, my clients sense the sincerity in my work. I continually refine my skills to provide the highest quality of support, aiming to bring out the best in everyone I work with.
